See our barOur history
Txoko Nagusia was founded in 1962 by Paquita Iturriaga, who started out frying croquettes behind a marble counter in the heart of the Old Town. What began as a humble neighbourhood spot gradually became a benchmark for Donostia-style pintxos, generation after generation.
Today it is run by her grandchildren, with the same respect for local produce and the same philosophy: honest ingredients, skilled hands and a bar that always smells good.
